“Antibalas: Live from the House of Soul” is another stunning Daptone live performance piece. Afrobeat rhythm powers every inch of this disc, so you better be a fan. I’m not a complete fan, but I can appreciate what I’m hearing. Daptone has its fans and that love needs to be there to really dig what’s being laid down. Still, it’s a 36 minute long performance with tracks that will keep you moving. If you’re a fan, I’d recommend picking it up.
