“Dinosaur Island” impresses with its efforts to include scientifically accurate dinosaurs. However, the acting feels on par with a standard kiddie afternoon show. The creative talent knows who there audience is and I watched as that audience connected to the material. I got a solid “Land of the Lost” remake vibe from the film, but I can’t say that it tread new ground. Meh, kids.
The DVD comes with no special features. The A/V Quality is pretty strong for a release like this. The Dolby 5.1 track is supportive. That being said, I can’t say that it blew me away. But, it’s worth a rental or stream.
