Ordinary People is the newest addition to the Paramount Presents collection. While this release packs new interviews, the bigger win is getting this Best Picture in proper 1080p HD. We’re running into a point in the streaming vs. physical media war where our older cinema is getting ignored to give people the best experience.
Paramount Presents is stepping up in a way that we haven’t seen outside of Criterion and Cohen. Timothy Hutton and novelist Judith Guest do a great job explaining the legacy of the movie. Honestly, I wish Sutherland, Hirsch or Redford were available to participate. Oh well, it’s still good.
