Dog dancing will never die!
“Unleashed” is a dog dancing story that follows an amateur troupe in producing an indoor show. They tour around the community and raise funds over two years. But, the director doesn’t feel that his spirited dancers are bringing it. The material is actually a strong look at amateur theater staging and playing with a non-theater going audience. Still, it’s about an older man making women dance with dogs.
If you can get past that, you’re going to have a solid documentary. The film is practically feature length and I’m not sure that works for it. Unless they were going to break off the main path of the oddity of the troupe, then there was no point in breaking an hour. But, the old people seemed to like it. The DVD comes with no special features.
