Trish has created an athletic workout that combines strength training movements with yoga poses sequenced into an energizing flow that will give you a total mind-body workout! Short on time? Each 10 minute routine is designed to give you a head to toe workout and fit easily into your schedule. All 5 routines provide a flow that will increase your heart rate and help you burn more calories. WHAT WE THOUGHT
“Stratusphere Yoga” is something I review because I keep getting asked by a vocal minority to cover well-being and fitness discs at the site. Some of the readers actually love reading reviews on what provides the best workouts and junk. It’s a 50 minute workout that doesn’t allow a ton of time to cool down. So, that might scare off some people.
Trish Stratus used to be a WWE Diva or something, so she knows something about exercise. That being said, she goes glute and ab heavy. Plus, the core stuff at the end of the routine almost made me want to puke. But, I’m on a ton of cold medication, so I’ve been out of it as it is. The shoulders and calves work could be a disc onto itself. If anything, I’d love to see Stratus expand on that section. What caught me offguard was the arm work that didn’t seem to have much focus.
The DVD comes with no special features. That’s actually pretty typical for exercise DVDs. The transfer is flat, but works for the program. The same goes for the Dolby Surround track. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase if you’re into Yoga or the WWE or chicks in yoga pants.
