It’s been four years since Nick and Audrey Spitz (played by Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston) solved their first murder mystery, and now they’re full-time detectives struggling to get their private eye agency off the ground. But things take a surprising turn when they’re invited to celebrate the wedding of their friend, the Maharaja (Adeel Akhtar), on his private island.
As the festivities begin, the groom is kidnapped for ransom, turning every guest, family member, and even the bride into a potential suspect. In Murder Mystery 2, Nick and Audrey are thrown into another high-stakes case that finally gives them the opportunity they’ve been waiting for: a shot at their detective agency becoming successful, and a long-awaited trip to Paris.
Directed by Jeremy Garelick, the film also stars Mark Strong, Mélanie Laurent, Jodie Turner-Smith, Kuhoo Verma, John Kani, and Dany Boon.
