Little House returns with the kids growing up.
“Little House on the Prairie” hits a lot of high notes in Season 7. Almanzo and Laura have a baby on the way, Adam regains his vision and Nellie is pregnant. You get 22 episodes lovingly restored that would’ve looked a world better on Blu-Ray. But, classic TV doesn’t pull down the same level of attention that it once claimed. The DVD comes with no special features.
The Complete Series run has been collected for DVD again as well. I liked the first time they did it, but the packaging made it hard to get a few of the later seasons safely out of their cases. This new Complete Series Collection looks a little easier. Still, I would have much preferred to have seen it get an HD release. If the series was shot on film, it deserves Blu-Ray.
