THE KINGDOM OF ZYDECO REVIEWED
“The Kingdom of Zydeco” is another one of the stunning Mugge music documentaries. This one doesn’t seem as old, but it’s insanely informative. The only time I ever hear Zydeco music is when I go to Popeye’s, so getting real history behind the music is new to me. That being said, I found myself listening more to the music than listening to the artists’ stories. One might say that is better for stuff like this, but I found myself annoyed by the distraction.
