KICKASS 4K REVIEWED
“Kick-Ass” gets the 4K treatment via Dolby Vision. Lionsgate has another winner on their hands, as this looks like it came straight from the DCP. At points, I wondered if it was a 2K original master. But, the finale and the Hit Girl intro material looks to be native 4K. Either way it goes, you’re going to have a good time. While I realize that we’re picking up younger readers, I assume that everyone knows the plot of a movie from 2010.
Lame kid loses feeling in parts of his body and becomes a vigilante. Eventually, Chloe Moretz and Nicolas Cage show up to steal focus. A good time is had by all. While it appears that this disc is going to be cheap for awhile, it should automatically rise to the top of your must-buy list. This budget-level reference quality material.
