Is this the season they jumped the shark?
“The Facts of Life” enters its seventh season with many changes. George Clooney gets more face time, as Cloris Leachman fills in for Charlotte Rae. The gang has a new store they run, everyone is dressed up in the late 80s fashions. Plus, Mackenzie Astin is there to be the adorable moppet to keep the young people interested. The fact that it lasted two more seasons is a testament to the fact that nobody was targeting the youth market in earnest at the time. The DVD comes with no special features.
