“E.O. Wilson: Of Ants and Men” is the latest documentary about ant communication. I say that like I’ve seen other documentaries on the matter, but I never expected two hours on the subject to be this interesting. E.O. Wilson is a fascinating biologist who proposes the idea of group selection in relation to the theory of evolution. Wilson’s research posits new things about evolution in relation to how it impacts certain animal groups. That’s great for nerds, but what about for everyone else? The DVD comes with no special features.
