What can we do to help disabled veterans?
“Debt of Honor” is a moving tribute to the history of disabled veterans. While there is a great deal of talk about World War II and Vietnam, most of the focus is on the modern era. Much time is spent discussing the skyrocketing rate of veteran suicides and talking to prominent veterans. But, it all keeps going back to the cultural shift.
How can you get an American populace to understand the veteran experience? They were over there killing as obligation, while Americans got to forget about them outside of Holiday oriented lip service. There’s also a great deal of time spent on how medical breakthroughs are increasing the amount of disabled veterans. Thus, a new disabled boom of soldiers that would’ve died births a new problem for America. The DVD comes with no special features.
