Dark River is another one of those movies that gets stuck in our backlog and it takes me forever to address. So, what’s it all about? Ruth Wilson continuing to make these dark dramas about how she has been wronged. She’s not a victim, but she’s also not winning by any means. Most will ignore these films, like they did with her stunning work on The Affair.
