“72%” is the percentage of black children born out of wedlock. Most of these kids are raised by single mothers and later become the fodder for every other Right Wing fear tactic. Well, the ones that don’t involve the gays and foreigners. The documentary runs the course of an hour, as we follow a single mother of three kids fighting against a warped media perspective against her. All perspectives are considered, but it’s hard to call someone a welfare queen when you see their actual life. The DVD comes with deleted scenes and extended interviews as the special features.
