Haida Street Films and RBG Films are thrilled to announce the global VOD release of Listen Carefully, the latest feature film from filmmaker Ryan Barton-Grimley. The psychological thriller will debut on December 16, 2024, available worldwide on major digital platforms, including Apple TV, Tubi, and Prime Video.
Following the success of his 2020 film Hawk and Rev: Vampire Slayers, Barton-Grimley returns with this intense and gripping thriller, which made its world premiere at Fantaspoa, the International Fantastic Film Festival of Porto Alegre. Listen Carefully also had its North American premiere at Dances With Films and went on to screen at Macabro Mexico City, Fangofest Amposta, and Scarefest Weekend, where Barton-Grimley earned a Best Actor nomination.
Listen Carefully centers around Andy McNeary (played by Barton-Grimley) as he navigates a psychological unraveling. Co-star and producer Simone Barton-Grimley portrays Abby McNeary, while Ari Schneider plays The Voice in a powerful supporting role. The film also brings together a talented team of collaborators, including Audrey Haworth (production designer), David Rickabaugh (art director), and Sean Ayers (cinematographer).
The film’s eerie, suspenseful tone has captivated audiences and is poised to continue its success with its digital debut.
