WITH CHILD REVIEWED
“With Child” is a look at the deconstruction of a young family. A father raising his four month old daughter after his wife dies, finds out that society is really against him. His in-laws want to take the kid and employment opportunities use the kid against him. Somehow, he makes bonds and finds a way to raise himself out of the gutter. It’s stunning work all around and a film that deserves attention. I’m just not sure if it’s overall impact on a mixed audience.
