Celebrate all the can’tmiss moments, history-making feats, and lovable heroes with Detroit Tigers: Hometown Heroics, a fast-paced thrill ride through the history of the boys from Motown. WHAT WE THOUGHT
“Hometown Heroics” is a solid Detroit Tigers venture. However, the baseball season will probably end tonight without a Tigers World Series appearance. They are the loveable Motor City losers, but it’s nice to see this stacked DVD provide a proper history of the team. These highlight discs are great for baseball fans, but the release period leaves me wondering what’s going on. Drop them in September and get that early Playoff Season rush.
The DVD comes with bonus footage as the special features. The A/V Quality is strong with a supportive transfer and a Dolby audio track. The Dolby track doesn’t get much back channel action outside of the few major baseball scenes. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase to Detroit Tigers fans.
