“Soul of the Elephant” is about the Jouberts quest to find elephants that died of natural causes. We follow them as they hunt down dead elephants with their ivory intact. The documentary was shot over two years, as the Jouberts traced the herds’ lineage that begat these elephants. PBS follows the Jouberts through their encounters with wild animals and hunt to find fresh water. The DVD comes with no special features.
