SLAM DUNK: SEASON 1 VOLUME 1

“Slam Dunk” offers up its first 14 episodes of the first season. I’m a big fan of all kinds of animation, but I barely understood what I saw. A juvie problem case meets a girl that digs basketball. However, the rest of the team fights for attention. There’s a lot of Eastern posturing and attitudes. But, the rest of the show is a basketball drama?

It’s not White Shadow, but what is? The DVD comes with no special features. The A/V Quality is clean for what it is, but it lacks any major punch-up. The show produces a ton of motion blur, but it completely destroy background visuals. I’m a sore sport over that, but I guess it’s on me. In the end, I’d only recommend it to fans.
