Phil Silvers returns as Sgt. Bilko for one last time.
“Sgt Bilko” returns in the fourth season of The Phil Silvers Show. While the material was far before my time, it’s interesting to see the Golden Age of TV represented so properly. The set is packed and the A/V Quality is appropriate for the era. Still, it’s 16 hours of a mean sergeant torturing his squad for laughs. Dean Martin and Lucille Ball show up for levity, but it’s few and far between. The DVD comes with no special features.
