PRETTY DUMB CRIMINALS REVIEWED
“Pretty Dumb Criminals” is the latest compilation from Mill Creek. Grabbing three late 90s/early 00s comedies from the Sony and Touchstone Archives is a fun effort. Still, I wish we were getting these movies on Blu-Ray. For those wanting movie breakdowns, you can find full reviews deep on the site. Just be glad that the movies aren’t heavily cropped or mutilated. If you still need plot details, here goes:
MAFIA! = ZAZ style spoof comedy tackling The Godfather.
Big Trouble = Underrated Sonnenfeld comedy with a massive cast. Very hard to dodge the Dave Barry/Carl Hiaasen influence.
High Heels and Low Lifes = Female funny mature comedy set in London. What Minnie Driver did before The Riches.
