NIGHTMARE WEEKEND REVIEWED
“Nightmare Weekend” is such an oddball horror movie, but it’s a product of its times. Echoing the best cheese of “Electric Dreams” by way of the questionable science of “The Lawnmower Man”, we get the movie for the nerds that want their K-Pros to go all BF Skinner. Unfortunately, young computer nerd’s new computer tool is being used to turn people into bloodthirsty mutants. Heads get damaged, stabbings abound and some nice 80s horror excess. While too graphic for a mixed audience, “Nightmare Weekend” belongs in the hands of real horror fans.
