I dreamed of climbing Meru again.
“Meru” follows three climbers tackling the titular mountain. You will see them be defeated and succeed over three years, as they plan to make their assault on the mountain. Seemingly tied into the release of Everest, the documentary tries to show the realistic side of such mountain climbing endeavors. It’s a beautiful movie, but it’s nothing that will make you watch it on repeat. The DVD comes with commentary, featurettes and bonus footage as the special features.
