“Frankenstein” is a modern version of the classic monster tale via the director of “Candyman”. The end result is a new monster who has been 3D printed by science gone amok. That alone will probably make 75% of readers check out. The end result is a fast moving film that doesn’t ever get around to having a point. There are some cool visuals, when you can get past the unnecessary aesthetic changes. That being said, it’s a solid effort that could’ve ended up being something far greater. I’d still recommend a rental to the curious.
