“Da Vinci’s Demons” returns with a third season. I believe this is its final bow, but I can’t ever tell with the Starz shows. Every season seems like it could be the last, but they find the push to keep going on. If you’re a fan already, then this is more of the same. I do have to say that the Ottoman attack scenes against Otranto were pretty interesting. It’s just a shame that the rest of the season couldn’t match those moments.
The A/V Quality is quite sharp with a stunning Dolby TrueHD 7.1 audio track. It’s weird to finally hear the show approaching reference quality. Still, it’s amazing Crusade action. But, it’s not like it’s Kingdom of Heaven or anything. The Blu-Ray comes with no special features.
