The Atomic Bomb has quite the history.
“The Bomb” is a fascinating look into the history of the Atomic bomb. George Shultz and William Perry head up the talking heads that place their political spin on the development. Still, so much of the material feels like fan praise for a weapon that could destroy the planet. Most of the Manhattan Project is dead or feeble now, so we missed out on a lot of their views. But, we have Oak Ridge and other folk to discuss the legacy of their work. Terrifying in concept, but the documentary lacks punch in its final form. The DVD comes with no special features.
