“The Beginners Bible” returns with Volume 3 of material that was created 20 years ago. The stories never changed and neither did the animation. Basically, it’s an effort to teach Judeo Christian minded children about the tales of the Prodigal Son, The Good Samaritan and Jesus’s Party Tricks. Kathie Lee Gifford offers up the theme song again and people will feel closer to the Lord. Unfortunately, that Lord isn’t the almighty and tentacled Cthulhu. Nothing ever goes right in animation. The DVD comes with no special features.
