“Arthur & George” is a lovely story about Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in a three-part drama based on true events. This is the same man that believed in faeries, propagated many dumb theories and got lucky off one successful franchise. Still, it’s an admirable British series about the events that might have led to the creation of Sherlock Holmes. If you’re an Anglophile, then this might keep you busy for three hours. The DVD comes with no special features.
