“American Hercules” is a pretty fair documentary on Babe Ruth. It suffers from the MLB official basic Wikipedia style documentary that covers the basics. I appreciate Martin Sheen’s narration, but how many times do I need to hear that Babe Ruth was awesome? I get it! I’m just not sure that I care. The DVD comes with over 30 minutes of archival footage as the special features. The A/V Quality is comparable to past baseball documentaries on DVD.
