About Dengue Fever’s Latest Release: Ting Mong

In 2023, Dengue Fever released their sixth full-length album, Ting Mong, an expansive collection of slower, psychedelic jams inspired by traditional Khmer folklore. The album’s title references Khmer protective mannequins used to ward off evil spirits and plagues. After an extended hiatus, followed by a global pandemic, the band took their time crafting a unique, immersive sound. Noted Japanese manga and anime artist Imiri Sakabashira provided the striking album artwork.

Tuk Tuk Records is distributed by MRI/The Orchard in North America and Proper Music Group internationally.
