VIKINGS UNEARTHED REVIEWED
“Vikings Unearthed” takes use to Newfoundland to see how far into North America the Vikings reached. It’s a two hour documentary, but most of the material is spent on the Vinland sagas and the history of the case. While we get a sense of what finally happened, it felt like a two hour exercise in seeing how much we can restate facts about Vikings. I don’t really care and it’s the downside of these historical reconstruction case. Unless things go all “Eaters of the Dead” or Mjolnir shows up, it’s been done before. Take that for what you will.
