Victoria Peaks is switching into gamer mode for a new episode of the Sumit Charismatic podcast, joining host Sumit Singh for “Big Gamer Show ft. Victoria Peaks.”
Peaks spends much of the episode talking about a side of her personality that doesn’t always get much attention. She’s a devoted Xbox player currently deep into Gears of War, with Resident Evil and Grand Theft Auto also occupying plenty of space in her gaming history.
One thing you won’t find her doing is switching teams to PlayStation.
“I loved getting to talk with Sumit about gaming because that side of me does not always get much airtime,” Peaks said. “I’m deep into Gears of War right now, so once we started talking Xbox, I could have kept going all day.”

The conversation doesn’t stay entirely behind the controller.
Peaks discusses her former career as a high school math teacher and remembers balancing schoolwork with the considerably stronger temptation to keep gaming. It’s a familiar problem for anyone who has ever promised themselves one more round before getting back to something productive.
Singh also gets Peaks talking about her history with Grand Theft Auto, including the rather more concerning experience of finding herself in what she describes as a real-life GTA situation.
The episode moves through memorable encounters with fans and the differences between gaming as a private hobby and turning it into another part of her public persona.
That leads to another obvious question. If Peaks loves gaming this much, why hasn’t she started livestreaming it?
She gets into that, too.
“I really appreciate him inviting me on and giving me room to geek out a little,” Peaks said.
“Big Gamer Show ft. Victoria Peaks” gives fans a different look at Peaks without trying to turn her gaming interests into another extension of her usual work. Sometimes you just want to talk about Gears of War.
