Vertical has secured U.S. theatrical distribution rights for Academy Award-winning director Ron Howard’s anticipated survival thriller, Eden, from Imagine Entertainment and AGC Studios. The film hits theaters nationwide on August 22nd.

True Story of Survival Turns Deadly

Set between the two World Wars, Eden follows disillusioned Europeans fleeing civilization to start anew on an uninhabited Galapagos island, believing society corrupts humanity’s true nature. Their pursuit of paradise soon descends into paranoia and violence, where their greatest threats become each other—leading to betrayal, bloodshed, and the chilling, still-unsolved deaths of half the colony.
