US FESTIVAL: THE 1982 US GENERATION REVIEWED
“US Festival: The 1982 Generation” is a documentary that helps explain a concert that happened when most of the readership were infants or not in existence. Most of the best clips are on YouTube, but make sure you know what you’re getting here. It’s just a talking head documentary about what went into making the show. The footage from the original Showtime broadcast and Heavy Metal Day are nowhere near here.
So, what does that mean for the music fan? There is plenty to enjoy here on the history front. However, it’s not going to appease the kind of people that would care about the US Festival. If this is your kind of thing, you’ll enjoy it.
