“Turned Towards the Sun” is a loving documentary that wanted to capture the life of Michael Burn on film. Burn died in 2010, but his candid chats presented here offer up a strange view of the world. A world where an Oxford student could intermingle with Nazis, meet Hitler and then turn against the Nazi mythos. The lives he saved during World War II and his bravery is to be commended. Still, I find myself wanting to see a movie of his story and less of a documentary. The DVD comes with a trailer, outtakes and related featurettes as the special features.
