TROY REVIEWS MOVIE FAST AGAIN: E-Demon and Maximum Impact

“E-Demon” uses the Internet to tell a story of creepy crap happening on a shared connection. It’s been a month since I’ve seen this once, yet I dug through my notes to find anything that makes it stand among a sea of features likes Unfriended or Searching. Nothing like that came to pass, but I do admit that I liked the cast. If that feels like a bland pleasantry for a film that barely got my attention, you would be right.

MAXIMUM IMPACT REVIEWED

“Maximum Impact” follows Alexander Nevsky and Tom Arnold as they team up to save the day. The film looks amazing, but it took two viewings before I had an idea of what was taking place. Basically, it’s this weird Moscow produced look at an action comedy about protecting the US Secretary of State. The Secretary played by Eric Roberts tries his best, but the entire production feels like a weird dub of a movie that was lost for years. I’ve liked Nevsky’s past work and I won’t call this one bad. However, it’s super odd.
