[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/NP7cEGDKGUs”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]”Trophy Heads” is a low-grade horror tale that pays tribute to Scream Queens of old. Charles Band is still one of the last mavericks making horror the way it used to be. This film is about a horror fan that is upset that his beloved horror starlets are getting old. So, he wants to kidnap them and sever their heads. That way they can live forever in his mother’s basement.

Low grade schlock by way of hardcore violence provides for quite the romp. Watching as the villain stages classic horror movies for the Queens to act out is sickening. Yet, you’ve got to appreciate the Postmodern humor taken to its dark zenith. You’d never see any of this in a Kevin Williamson script.

The Blu-Ray comes with audio commentary, featurettes, trailers, photo gallery and behind-the-scenes footage as the special features. The A/V Quality suggest digital origins. The 1080p transfer feels flat, but I’m not sure what to hang that on. The Dolby 5.1 track is lossy, but works for the material. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase to fans of Charles Band.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Release Date: OUT NOW!
