Older fans will want to compare it to Indiana Jones and they’re stupid. That’s like comparing the OSS 117 movies to Bond. If we’re basing everything off superficial appeal than we’re no better than the morons at SONY. Just kidding, Sony. You still send physical review copy and we approve of how you’re handling giving Tom Rothman a physical lair.
“Up To His Ears” is a film about an upset rich man whose fortunes have gone to Hell. After signing an expensive life insurance policy, he now has to deal with the world’s forces trying to kill him. But, what happens when he discovers a desire to live during these efforts? Belmondo plays up the comedy more in this one, but it’s still a fun affair. That’s what is so great about these movies. They’re fun 60s French romps to balance out the Godards of the world.
The Blu-Ray comes with featurettes and trailers as the special features. The 2K restorations make the transfers look amazing in glorious 1080p. The same can be said for the DTS-HD master audio tracks. I welcome the new age of the boutique labels, as they are killing it with these stunning releases. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Release Date: 04/14/15[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
