THE SUNSHINE MAKERS REVIEWED
“The Sunshine Makers” is the kind of documentary that makes me wish I went into hardcore narcotics manufacturing. Nicholas Sand and Tim Scully had a dream when they made Orange Sunshine LSD. It was going to be a mind-expanding therapeutic method of fixing society’s ills. While the 1960s and backwards American thinking undermined a lot of it, the duo still accomplished a ton. In an era where we’re seeing MDMA make the most headway in treating PTSD, I feel that the merits of Orange Sunshine shouldn’t be overlooked. If that sounds fascinating to you, then spend a solid 90 minutes with this documentary.
