STRIKE BACK: SEASON FIVE REVIEWED
“Strike Back: Season Five” had less nudity this time. I hate to bring that up as a weak point, but it also highlights how so much of the show is dude driven. Working as the fourth year of the team tackling random foreign bad guy, the Cinemax show seems like it’s hitting a wall. However, the show is just pure action fuel. That won’t appeal to all people, but the show has a fanbase for a reason.
Where does Section 20 go now? I was enjoying last year, as it seemed to be treading into Paul Verhoeven action territory. It’s just now, everything feels so generic. What’s the big takeaway? Well, nothing. People will keep eating up the action they get and never demanding more than some boobs every couple of scenes. Enjoy!
