Spider-Noir Brings Nicolas Cage May 27 on Prime Video
Here’s the Marvel series that puts Nicolas Cage in his first leading television role: Prime Video today unveiled the official trailer for Spider-Noir, the live-action series based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir, premiering on MGM+’s linear channel May 25, 2026, before rolling out globally on Prime Video May 27 across more than 240 countries and territories. Cage stars as Ben Reilly, a seasoned, down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero following a deeply personal tragedy.
For the first time ever, viewers can choose their own viewing experience as the series will be available to stream in two ways: “Authentic Black & White” and “True-Hue Full Color.” The ensemble cast includes Emmy winner Lamorne Morris (Fargo, New Girl), Li Jun Li (Sinners, Babylon), SAG winner Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire), and Oscar nominee Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin), with the Academy Award-winning team behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse—Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal—serving as executive producers.

The official trailer made its world premiere to a packed room of 2,100 fans at Centro Banamex Convention Center in Mexico City for CCXPMX26, the largest pop culture festival in the world.
