[text_block_nav title=”The Plot”]”Soaked in Bleach” took eight years to complete and it’s meant to be a serious look at Courtney Love’s involvement in the death of Kurt Cobain. The end result is an extended “Unsolved Mysteries” retelling that sports several interest theories. The trouble with that is it is 21 years later and time has put a healthy distance between the incident and now. Will we ever have an absolute truth about what happened? Who knows? It’s reasonable enough that Cobain killed himself.
Unfortunately, you have a legion of fans that don’t want to accept that. So, we get more stylized documentaries like this that wants to reconstruct a world out of scraps. You do what you can, but that’s about it. I’d recommend checking it out for nothing but curiosity. Just don’t accept anything presented as fact.[/text_block_nav]
