Great news for fans of genre cinema and literature! Severin Films has partnered with Encyclopocalypse Publications to co-produce a range of exciting literary projects. This collaboration will bring original novels, movie novelizations, and resurrected horror paperbacks inspired by Severin’s extensive catalog of genre classics.
The partnership kicks off with a bang, announcing their first joint release: “CRUEL JAWS: THE NOVELIZATION” by Brad Carter. Based on the notorious 1995 film by Bruno Mattei, often called “THE AVENGERS of JAWS knockoffs,” this novelization is set to hit shelves on July 30, 2024.
“CRUEL JAWS: THE NOVELIZATION” promises a thrilling read, following a renegade shark expert and a down-on-his-luck lawman as they race against time to stop a genetically engineered killer shark from turning a holiday weekend into a bloodbath. The book will be available in mass market and trade editions, both priced at $16.99, featuring new cover art, photos from the film, and a foreword by “SHARKSPLOITATION: THE DOCUMENTARY” director Stephen Scarlata.
