SATELLITE GIRL AND MILK COW REVIEWED

“Satellite Girl and Milk Cow” is a bizarre anime movie. KIT-SAT 1 is a decommissioned satellite looking for love. When she hears a heartbroken singer on Earth, she crashes down to Korea and turns into a lovesick girl. Unfortunately, the singer turns into a human sized cow that is trying to evade a crazy stove. A witch and Merlin also come into play, as I finally find my new favorite anime film. I appreciate that the film plays under 90 minutes, because I don’t see how this much crazy could be sustained past that point. Did I mention that someone turned Merlin into a roll of toilet paper? A roll of toilet paper that can still perform magic and dispense sage advice? I always wished that anime would be more inventive and I can’t possibly imagine a romantic anime that plays this way. Why does all of that stuff have to stay so serious? You’re a cartoon, play around with that. More movies should have talking toilet paper and human cows fighting against weird objects.
