In the second season of this CBS sitcom, a motley crew of friends who are all at different points on the relationship spectrum seek each other’s support in dealing with the ups and downs of dating, commitment and matrimony. The group includes the newly engaged Adam and Jennifer (Oliver Hudson and Bianca Kajlich), the long-married Jeff and Audrey (Patrick Warburton and Megyn Price), and the serially single Russell (David Spade).

THE AV REVIEW:
Here comes the next hilarious season of marital bliss and fantasies of the perfect mate! Whether it’s Jeff’s (Patrick Warburton) snoring that pushes him into the guest bedroom, the “unsexy” sex tape that Adam (Oliver Hudson) and Jennifer (Bianca Kajlich) try to record, Audrey (Megyn Price) protecting her sister from “the perv” Russell (David Spade), or the time-share vacation they all take together, the second season of Rules of Engagement looks at love from all sides of the bed with humor and honesty that’ll keep you laughing no matter what shape you or your relationship is in!
The show has started to focus more on Warburton (Seinfeld) and the two couples rather than redoing Just Shoot Me and having Spade carry the show. it just makes the show run smoother and have better comedic timing. definitely worth a look…but instead of renting it, you can just watch the episodes on CBS.com. the recent season always has the last few episodes aired…
The DVD is an interesting package. I’m not that thrilled with how Sony handles their TV on DVD, but the A/V Quality on this set is through the roof. Throw on some decent special features and a glimpse of what’s to come. Thus, you’ve got a wonderful package. I’d recommend it to fans for a purchase. Everyone else should stick to a rental.
