Republic Pictures, a Paramount Pictures label, announced today that Orlando Bloom, Caitríona Balfe, and John Turturro will star in The Cut, a psychological thriller directed by Sean Ellis (Anthropoid).
The Film
In The Cut, Bloom plays a retired boxer granted one final shot at redemption. With just six days to make weight for a title fight, his obsession puts him under the control of a notorious trainer (Turturro) who pushes him beyond mind, body, and soul. Balfe co-stars as the one figure in his corner trying to pull him back before he self-destructs.
