Raissa Bellini discusses her lifelong passion for football, an unexpected meeting with Kylian Mbappé and the next phase of her career in a new interview with French magazine La Voix du X.
In the feature, “Raïssa Bellini: ‘Kylian Mbappé Is One of My Favorite Players,'” the Italian-born creator reflects on growing up in Sardinia, where football became a constant part of her life through school, family and friends.
“Football has this incredible ability to unite people from all countries, all cultures and all walks of life,” Bellini said. “For ninety minutes, everyone speaks the same language.”
Bellini also looks back on the recent World Cup, naming the France versus England third-place match as her favorite of the tournament while praising Mbappé’s performances on the way to winning the Golden Boot. She recalls unexpectedly meeting the French superstar in a Boston hotel lobby, describing the encounter as one of the highlights of the trip.
