“Psychonautics: A Comic’s Exploration Of Psychedelics” is a rather fun documentary that targets the entertaining use of psychadelics. While the films plays short, it holds up in that sort of communal way. Unless you live under a rock, you always have that one friend that wants to document what they do. There’s something familiar about what Shane Mauss does here that just makes me smile. It feels like an old friend doing acid while trying to watch The Phantom Menace. They never make it past the scenes with Watto. If that sounds like your sort of thing, then check it out.FILM STATS
