“The Physics of Light” is an intriguing six part mini series that connects many major scientific discoveries to neat things about light. I was going to talk about how educational the series was and how it changed my life. But, that’s a lie. I fell asleep through half of it. Got bored and turned the rest off. I spent the rest of my time watching “Tequila Sunrise” and eating some Bourbon Chicken. I eventually picked up the show to finish it, but I can’t even remotely call this program anything other than educational material that’s on par with chugging Ambien.
The difference is that when I chug Ambien like that, I usually follow it up with some Espresso and a can of AMP. Do people still drink AMP? We’ve got a Meetup scheduled for the day before Mother’s Day. And, that’s time.
The DVD comes with five hours of episodes spread across two discs. The A/V Quality is strong for an educational series. Still, you shouldn’t expect an amazing presentation in your home theater. I don’t know why I have to keep stressing that, but here we are. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase.
