Join Peppa in this All-New fun-filled holiday special as Peppa and her family celebrate the season. Peppa and George write letters to Santa, decorate the Christmas tree, sing festive songs and stay awake all night waiting to catch a glimpse of the big guy himself. There s also a trip to Pirate Island, a visit to the Dentist, a school bus trip adventure and much more! Kids will love these hilarious adventures filled with lots of snorts and laughter, and of course, jumping in muddy puddles!

“Peppa’s Christmas” is a compilation disc of holiday themed Peppa episodes. Sure, you get a few of the dozen that take Peppa Pig out of the Christmas events, but it works. Trips to the Dentist and Pirate Island don’t naturally excite, but I’ll take what I can get. The same goes for the stuff with the grandparents. While the theme is appreciated, I love that Nick Jr doesn’t mess around with keeping kids entertained, but focused.

What I really love about it is that my daughter is starting to get to the age where she can appreciate it. Now, we’ve got her on Matt Smith era Doctor Who, The Simpsons and Peppa Pig. We found out that she digs Peppa Pig after trying to introduce her to Peter Capaldi. Capaldi is frightening, while Peppa is a fun piglet that can take kids into realms of adventure. Well, she can do it as much as a pig can. I don’t want to confine the young lady to a porcine glass ceiling. But, I guess that I did.

The DVD comes with no special features. The A/V Quality is pretty sharp for a Peppa Pig compilation. The transfer is sharp enough. The same goes for the Dolby track. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase.
